As it is, the style of a house bed is so fun and exciting for kids! But if you want to take it up a notch, here are a few fun ideas! And a practical one for keeping them from rolling out!
Ever since Realm Design used these in Jade Roper's daughter Emmy's room, everyone has wanted them! And I can't blame you.. they're so cute! She used 4 panels. To help you know which length to order, if you have a full size bed the length from the top of the bed to the floor is about 82" for a twin size it's about 72". I think having them a little too long is better than too short!
2. BED BUMPERS
If your child was ready to move out of their crib long before you were ready for them to transition, you might be worried about them rolling out of bed (even though it's a small fall out of our house beds). That's where these bed bumpers come in to save the day. Just stick one on each side under the fitted sheet and you've created a little hill that keeps them nice and safe in their bed and you don't have to worry anymore about them rolling out!
3. LIGHTS
Just trust me, you won't regret the magical element string lighting adds! Any and all.. patio lights or Christmas lights.. you choose your favorite!
4. BUNTING
This is a fun accessory to add a little color to the bed! drape it from the top rod, or the house shaped part. So many fun options! Plus, you can use it as party decor for birthdays! Love me something that is multifunctional!
There are so many fun garlands out there that would be so cute to drape from your kid's house bed! Flet balls, florals, the options are endless! Take your pick!
